Humans use many resources 1. Ancient civilizations used stone to create tools and weapons. 2. Wood was an important fuel for cooking and keeping warm. 3. Humans rely on the environment and use additional resources to meet their needs. Resources Renewable Resources Trees coal Sunlight petroleum (oil) Water natural gas They can be replace naturally or by humans in a short amount of time.

Not replaceable
They take millions of years to form again.
